Who doesn’t love a 1-skein project!? They’re perfect for when you’re in the mood for something small, and it can also be a great way to use up stash yarn. Or sometimes you have just 1 special skein of yarn, maybe picked up on your last trip or given to you as a gift, and you’ve been wondering “What can I make with this?!”. The above and below photo is my Lorraine Cowl, available here on my site or on Ravelry. It uses just 1 skein of The Fibre Company’s Road to China Light, a gorgeous sport-weight alpaca blend. The Lorraine Cowl is written for either sport or DK-weight (I followed the sport-weight instructions with this yarn).

Here is a collection of some of my other 1 skein projects. I also included some patterns that needed 1 skein each of 2 colors – these are also great for stash-busting!
