My Winter 2026 KAL Workshop is Here!
Every winter, at the beginning of the year, I host a guided online knitalong workshop that is part KAL and part online course. An educational opportunity to learn every step of knitting a particular pattern through in-depth video lessons, paired with the structure and support of a knitalong experience.
And so I’m excited to announce my Winter 2026 edition. This year, we’ll be knitting my Low-key Vest, a versatile, wearable design that’s perfect for building garment-knitting confidence. Cast-on begins February 7 and enrollment is now open.
If you’ve been wanting a supportive, educational way to knit a garment (even if it’s your first garment) and really understand each step along the way, this workshop was created with you in mind. And because it’s virtual, you can learn right from home!
A confidence-building approach to garment knitting
My goal with this workshop is simple: to help build your knitting confidence. Through my in-depth video lessons, I’ll guide you through every aspect of knitting the Low-key Vest – step by step and row by row. I’ll explain not only the “how”, but the “why” as well. You’ll gain a better understanding of sizing, gauge, and garment-knitting techniques so that future projects feel far less intimidating.
Perfect for visual learners
This workshop is especially well-suited for visual learners. Each section of the pattern is supported by detailed, pre-recorded video lessons that walk you through the process clearly and calmly.
You can watch the videos whenever it’s convenient for you—pause, rewind, and re-watch as often as you’d like. The knitalong structure provides helpful momentum, while still allowing you to move at your own pace and fit the workshop into your life.
Support and connection along the way
Alongside the videos, you’ll get weekly emails from me and live Zoom meet-ups throughout the workshop. These sessions are a chance to connect in real-time, ask questions, and learn even more tips and tricks. Plus, I’m always available via email as well. So you’ll never be alone wondering if you’re doing something “right.” Support, encouragement, and real-time help are built into the experience.
