Back in 2012 I published my Acadia Loop, a little DK-weight neckwarmer featuring the neat knitted turned hem technique. And finally, after 8 years, I’ve revamped it and just re-released it this week! It now has 2 sizes to pick from, both still needing just 1 skein of The Fibre Company’s Acadia yarn (I purchased mine online from the yarn shop the Cashmere Goat up in Camden, Maine). The new pattern also includes a photo and video tutorial!
With 2 size options, it makes a great gift for everyone. And, it’s a quick knit too.
The knitted turned hem technique really gives it a beautiful, tailored appearance. And, it’s easy to do! Click here to view my whole tutorial (including a video!) so you can make your own with total confidence. For all of the pattern details and to purchase, click below!
Acadia Loop Neckwarmer
Acadia Loop is an easy 1-skein unisex neckwarmer worked in the round with DK-weight yarn and 2 size options to pick from. The bottom of the cowl uses a knitted turned hem technique (photo & video tutorials provided) to provide both stability as well as a tailored appearance.
Named after both the yarn as well as the famous Acadia National Park’s “Park Loop Road”, Acadia Loop drapes softly on the neck and is both rustic and comfy at the same time.
This is the PDF version of the pattern. After going through the checkout you will receive an email with a downloadable PDF link. If you prefer to purchase through Ravelry, click here.
