I am so honored to be invited by Andrea and Andrew of the Fruity Knitting video show to be featured in their “Knitters of the World” segment! In case you have not yet heard about this wonderful show, the Fruity Knitting video podcast is produced by Andrea and Andrew Doig from their home in Germany and is one of the most informative and professional knitting podcast I’ve seen. They provide knitting inspiration from around the world, and with their thoughtful, informative (not to mention entertaining) content, it’s no wonder it’s become such a popular show amongst enthusiastic knitters! It’s the perfect show to watch/listen to as you knit your next project 🙂 I highly recommend it – you’ll learn something new with every episode!
The “Knitters of the World” segment features designers from around the globe and allows them to share a bit about their knitting world. I was thrilled to be able to share a little about my history, design process and favorite designs. It was also fun to provide some “extreme knitting” footage of me knitting on a boat in Casco Bay here in the Portland, Maine area (a special thank you to my husband Jeff for taking all of the footage and to my great friends Alex and Dan and their daughter Audrey who took us out on their boat and navigated all around Casco Bay to find just the right spots)!
