Hey look, it’s me!
I was so thrilled earlier this Spring to meet with a writer from Maine Women Magazine to be one of the knitwear designers interviewed for an upcoming article about how the Portland, Maine area seems to be a hub for knitting and designers. And last week the issue published and is available on newsstands! As a Mainer for the last 15 years and a knitting designer for 10 of those years, I know how important this area is to inspiring my own creativity and aesthetic, and I’m definitely not alone! Of course I was a bit surprised (but totally honored!) to also be featured on the cover!
If you live in Maine (and aren’t already a subscriber), you can pick up a copy of Maine Women Magazine this month for free at a number of different stores such as Hannaford or Shaws. If you don’t live in Maine, you can check out the digital edition here! Oh, and if you’re curious, the wrap I’m wearing in the photos is from my Coming Home scarf kit!
