- light green photos: Sport-weight version using Road to China Light by The Fibre Company (65% Alpaca, 15% Silk, 10% Camel, 10% Cashmere; 50g = 159 yds), 2 skeins.

Pattern gauge for each yarn-weight is listed below, along with estimated needle size. Note: Exact gauge is not critical but it will affect your finished measurement and yarn usage.
- Fingering: 30 sts = 4”/10 cm in St st on US 2/2.75 mm 32”/80 cm circ.
- Sport: 26 sts = 4”/10 cm in St st on US 4/3.5 mm 32”/80 cm circ.
- DK: 22 sts = 4”/10 cm in St st on US 6/4 mm 32”/80 cm circ.
- Worsted: 18 sts = 4”/10 cm in St st on US 8/5 mm 32”/80 cm circ.
- Bulky: 14 sts = 4”/10 cm in St st on US 10/6 mm 32”/80 cm circ.
