Carley

$7.00

Carley is a cardigan vest that drapes over the shoulders and is perfect for easy layering. Worked up in the DK-weight yarn ‘Cotton Comfort’ by Green Mountain Spinnery, it’s a versatile piece that you can wear all year long.
It’s simple silhouette features interesting details like an icord edge split hem and an exposed shoulder seam that drapes along the upper-back. Easy enough for beginner knitters but still interesting enough for the more advanced.

Construction: Vest is knit from the bottom-up, with each Front and the Back knit separately at first (to create the split hem), then joined together and worked all in one piece to the underarms. Then each Front and Back is worked separately up to the shoulders (with short rows to shape the shoulders), then joined together using the Three Needle Bind-Off technique.
