The Shawl Collar…

The shawl collar is created by working short rows – this creates extra fabric around the collar at the back of the neck. I use wrap and turn short rows for this technique (tutorial above). Because you are working in a rib pattern (and not in stockinette stitch like in my video), at each “w&t” you will be holding the yarn in front when initially slipping the stitch, as if it’s a wrong-side row.
