Yarn/Yardage: Approx 315 yds of fingering or sport-weight yarn, shown in Alegria by Manos del Uruguay (75% Superwash Merino, 25% Polyamide; 100g = 445 yds), Eucalyptus, 1 skein. 

Gauge: 23 sts & 36 rnds = 4”/10 cm in St st in the rnd after blocking* 

*Exact gauge is not critical but it will affect your finished measurement and yarn usage. 

Needles & Supplies:

  • US 6/4mm 24”/60 cm circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
  • For top/bottom trim: US 5/3.75mm 24” circular needle, or 1 needle size smaller than that used to obtain gauge.
  • 1 regular stitch marker
  • 1 removable stitch marker
  • Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
